I am a 23 year old economics student. It is my ambition to develop a company that generates energy through offshore wind farm using wind turbines. It has not been attempted in my city (nor in my country) yet but the wind blows EVERYDAY! So much so that the town i live in is called the ‘windy city’. I always day dream of how successful this a company of this nature could become. Is there anyone out there with some solid advice for me??

We have an OLD home that needs new flooring throughout. If we’re going to install new floors, wouldn’t it make sense to install radiant floor heat throughout as well? I keep hearing about how much more efficient it is, how comfortable and even it is, and also aesthetically pleasing (no ugly radiators.)
Since radiant floor heat operates with hot water running through the tubing, wouldn’t it also make sense to use a solar hot water system to provide the hot water to the heating system?

Many Obama supporters are bitter for the rising of food prices knowing Obama is a strong supporter of corn ethanol. Obama is good at blaming people and stealing people ideas or should i say pragmatic. He lacks innovation ideas. A great leader must have rocket science idea like FDR, Reagan, lincoln, etc something obama lacks. That has to come with great experience. Sorry to say, but Obama will take the U.S to depression.

I own an energy inefficient 70s condo. It still has some single-pane windows, the duct system distributes heat in insane ways, and our exterior walls are very cold in the winter, indicating heat loss.
Now, there are tons of web tools with advice on what to do. Inspect your ducts, caulk, replace windows. I have two basic problems with those:
1) I don’t know how (like how do I inspect my ductwork, from the inside).
