Exceed Expectations,
The panel measured 120W on my meter when measured on a cloudless sunny noonday. That explained why the Seller put “117W?” in the title of the item. I tried measuring the panel at different glancing angles to the sun and the wattage was never below 90W throughout. The panel’s aluminium frame is superb and appears high quality with pre-drilled holes for installation. The back of the panel has a junction box with the expensive MC/4 connector and a meter long cable
I bought 10 of the panels and they snap (connect) into each other in an instant. I use them with a grid-tie inverter and halved my electricity bill after 3 months averaging from the utility company’s bill. I consider my purchase a well-worth investment.

|Little Light, careful where you need it for,
First – let me tell you what I LOVE about this light. The settings, for me at least, as easy to use and offer a wide range of choices. It has three control setting. When you want the light on, day time to night time, your choice anywhere in that time frame. How LONG you want the light to stay on once it senses motion (stays on the through all motion, the timer starts when the motion stops) from two to four minutes. I would say 45 seconds to five minutes is a little more accurate. And Sensitivity, from high to low. I want mine to pick up cars and people, so I set it to medium. So far the rabbits and skunks are still in the dark, my daughter has a lighted path from the driveway to the porch. It is easy to install, but you may want to get a little stronger ‘mollys’ if you live in a windy place or are installing it on sophit instead of wood. It is durable – we dropped it ten feet during installation – it still works and didn’t break! The light is bright enough in pitch dark (no solar powered light will ever match an electric light in my lifetime!!) a soft glow that doesn’t blind you or attract bugs. The ability to point the two lights where ever you want makes it perfect for Driveways and walkways, or two corners of your house! The solar panel is adjustable in angles, so you can find the best location for the panel without compromising where you put the light (LONG cord between the two as well).
Second – what I don’t like. This unit has a 25′ sensory range. Seems like a lot, more then enough. BUT if you put it up on your 15 foot garage peek, you really have a ten foot motion sensory range on the ground. The sensory does have a 180 degree range, and can be pointed/positions to the area you need to pick up motion in, but unless you are installing it on the ground, expect to have to be up closer before it lights your way.
Over all – great product…I will be getting a few more (now that I know where I need to install them to get the best light coverage from them).

|Good for small areas,
I am using this light in a small stairwell to a garden apartment in an urban setting, and it is absolutely perfect for the job. I understand the other reviewers who say this light doesn’t light up an entire driveway or deck area, but for my purpose it is absolutely fantastic. If you have a door, stairwell, or other small area, this light will be perfect. Anything more, and you will want to look elsewhere or perhaps purchase more than one. The three controls – motion sensitivity, external luminance sensitivity, and lighting duration – are nice features and all work well. Would definitely buy again.
p.s. The cord is 9 feet. I didn’t see that anywhere in the product specs. So you can mount the solar collector a maximum of 9 feet away from the light.

|OK,
This is my 3 rd solar powered flood light I purchased, I have two other brands.
It was smaller then I thought it would be, and it seems to temperamental (I know)
If you are trying to illuminate a small to medium area, it will work fine and be bright enough. The settings can be adjusted pretty easily, installation is pretty much a no brainer.
My issue is that I can see the lights being on in the middle of the day. I see the led’s on. This does not happen with any of my other solar lights. Ofcourse I am moving around in front of the light, but somehow to me it seems that this should not be. So, if they are on a lot, it is not charged for the night.
I have tried to change the settings, but to no avail yet. I will keep on trying.
In short, it is an OK light, it will work, it is bright enought but for $20 to $30 more you will get a bigger and maybe better fixture.
