The Two Tandem Blades Propeller according to our invention is intended to convert the wind energy into electric power, but at a higher efficiency than actual horizontal axis wind turbines. Unlike the actual turbines, this Tandem Blades Propeller harnessed much more wind because the peripheries of tandem props by rotation formed virtual cylinder instead of virtual circle of actual turbine single blade propeller. Every Tandem forms a loop frame. That is why the tip energy loses reduced significantly and the noise level is very low, as well. Tandem structure has a structural advantage. As a result, the rotor is lightweight [...]
Question by gcm4849: i am interested in making a solar panel for domestic electricity.plz guide me and also tell me about its term?
i also want to know about different electricity terms.my solar panel be able to run a 1300 watt split air condition.i m in a sunny locality around the year.thanks.
Best answer:
Answer by Master UOk, the solar panels will normally generate 12 volts DC, you can either then run a static inverter to raise to 110volts, the output current will be somewhat less than 1/12th (due to losses) or you can run a motor dynamo – this is lossier though.

Question by : how do you determine the water flow rate for an active solar water heating system for a domestic system?
say the energy from the sun is 12 MJ/m2/day and there are 3 solar collectors, and a tank of 150 liters for storage.
Best answer:
Answer by Light KnightThe flow rate of the system through the collectors is fairly slow. It should be around 1 gpm. The fluid going through the collectors needs time to absorb the heat.

Question by Emil: What is the typical domestic annual energy consumption (kwh/year) in Ireland?
The question relates to a typical house in Ireland. I need it in order to find roughly how big a PV solar system should be so it will cover the electricity demand 100%. Could you please recommend some reliable source where I could find more statistics on the potential of PV in Ireland?
