My first attempt at a Wind Turbine Generator. Haven’t figured out how I am going to mount it vertically so for now testing it horizontally. Still need to add the 12″ pulley and generator which I have and will attach later. Had some good wind the past few days and this got up to this speed from a dead stop so I think it may be pretty good once mounted vertical.

Answer by SmartAlexThese are available at just about any hardware store–although getting the threaded flywheel to go with it is a little more problematic.
I’ve included a link to an e-bay store that sells both.

Question by : Who is a manufacturer of a small generator that can fit inside of a small wind turbine?
Any help is very appreciated. I’m looking any manufacturer EXCEPT ones in China, which may be a kind of picky exception, hahaha.
