Question by : DIY Home Wind Turbines plans, do they worth it?
Hi fellows,
I’ve been seeing some projects for DIY home turbines and produce my own power. Do you think this plans are worth it? I mean, will this produce enough power to maintain at least my TV and Computer?

Should I run it on auto and leave the fan off in between cycles, or will running the a/c fan keep it cooler and keep the compressor from running as much. If it matters the unit is brand new with a new thermostat.

because the fan does not blow on your skin to make you feel cooler

Question by WinonaGal: Do you think the government should force you to make energy saving improvements to your home?
Consider this…. if Cap and Trade is implemented and you decide you want to sell your home, would you be happy to have a government inspector do an energy audit of your house and then force you to spend the money to upgrade your house before it can be sold?
Wouldn’t you think that upgrades ought to be the buyer’s choice after they own?

Question by debra c: How can I apply for a grant to make my old home more energy efficient?
I don’t want to apply to any of those companies that claim they can get the information on funding only to have to pay some type of fee to get the information, I think there is a federally funded program but I don’t know where to start.
