Question by cheappower82: Are there any tax credits or other incentives from the state of Alabama for energy efficiencies?
I know that other states (California, Tennessee, Arizona, etc.) offer rebates and other incentives for the purchase and implementation of energy saving appliances and alternative energy generators (solar, wind, hydroelectric, etc.). I can’t seem to find any such offers from the state of Alabama

Answer by Andrew OThey have them for energy star appliances. Contact you local electricity provider. Sometimes they run out of funding thugh.

it is non-pollutting
it lessens the need for imported fuels from foreign nations that are potentially hostile to us

In Canada it can be very difficult for a residential property owner to get any kind of financial help from the government to install a solar electric system.
