LAWRENCE: Panel plan aims to double solar energy in state
Solar panels have begun cropping up on utility poles and atop street lights in Lawrence Township, South Brunswick, Monroe and 300 other municipalities and cities across New Jersey. The panels are part of a massive effort by utility giant PSE&G to double solar energy generation in the state, which currently produces more solar power than any other state except California.
