Question by oliverfrostartist: how much does it cost to buy and install a lighting conductor on a domestic wind turbine?
ideally id like to have a idea, based on prices in portugal near santana da serra, just above the algarve.
ive been quoted £1200 for a conductor
and £2000to repair the turbine thats been hit by lighting.
it a very specific question so if there is not answer than im not surprised, but if you have any experience of this id be gratefull of your knowledge.

Question by pink.love: I know fluorescent lighting is more energy efficient but how much energy is it saving?
What if all the fluorescent lights in a classroom were turned off, about how much money or energy would that actually save?

Answer by Jerry LeeIt will depend on the size of the classroom, and how well lit it is. It will require more lighting if it has dark paint or dark floors, or faces north, or they have classes at night, or there are no windows at all.
I estimate 1,000-2,000 Watts.
